Charmaine, second and youngest child of her mother, Cynthia, has also a year older brother, Jase. Her dad bastardly walked out of Cynthia’s life with her good friend, mentioning about divorce so abruptly when Cyn was already in her 7th month pregnancy of Char. This was the hardest times that Cyn thought it would be but little did she know that her force of moving on and living happily is soon to be on thin line. Cyn noticed Char has a protruding right rib cage which is higher than her left. This shocked Cyn and that was the beginning of nightmare. Scans showed a 12cm tumor, classified her as a URGENT case of neuroblastoma (4th Stage). A child with no father, now experiencing the crucial point of her life – Is she gonna survive or is she gonna leave this world in no time.
No one could confirm the amount of half a million SGD could save Char totally cos her survival percentage is only 40-50%. Looking at the traumatizing amount and the slightest possibility of getting her back healthily, what would be the worse for a mom who has resigned to stay home 24hr by her sickly daughter? How do you then think she could raise that amount in time to save her daughter?
